Oh my! Last week in Texas was crazy! 3 degrees, ice, snow, no power, no water... clearly not average weather for the Hill Country. But - we endured! At our home, we huddled in the living room around the wood burning fireplace to stay warm. My craft room was in the upper 30s so I didn't go there very often. However, when you have no power and can't work, can't watch tv, can't scour Pinterest... what do you do? I found it was nice to enjoy some quieter things in life. I read books and did a little crafting.
Since it was in the 30s in my craft room, I decided to pull out a few of my gelli prints, some Posca pens, and some watercolors. That was enough to be creative. Here are the results of that time:

We've thawed out - you'd never know last week happened. I'm thankful for the blessings of this home and so much more in my life!
